About The Department

 

The Global IT Security Operations as a unit is part of the Global IT in Novo Nordisk serving more than 40,000 employees worldwide.

 

IT Security has the responsibility of securing Novo Nordisk & its assets from any Cyber threats. IT Security and related services is growing rapidly reflecting a high managerial focus and high activity level, and we are therefore looking for a skilled Security Analyst in Global IT India who has the drive to deliver superior IT Security operations globally. Global IT India is an integral part of Global IT responsible for all major IT Projects, Operations management, and Systems in Novo Nordisk. Global IT India consists of more than 500 talented IT colleagues and is growing fast.

 

The position

 

As a Specialist you will have the responsibilities such as:

 

  • IT Security Incident response and vulnerability analysis, communicate with various stakeholders including management at all levels and vendors.
  • You will be having the ability to present security solutions and be part of the continuous transformation of the global IT security in Novo Nordisk and manage security campaigns.
  • You will support large project, initiatives in the Infrastructure, Systems, and IT security, ensure in various engagement the compliance requirements are met and provide support for areas in Quality and Process for various IT Security Projects and systems.
  • We expect you to stand up to the pressure that comes with being responsible for a global IT Security and act as a back-up for the fellow Security Analysts when required also identify opportunities for improvement, demonstrate proactiveness and ownership.

 

Qualification

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering or similar graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 6+ years of relevant working experience within Security Operations centre with deep understanding of the principles and strategies associated with Security Incident response.
  • Good experience in hunting for security threats, log analysis and log correlation.
  • Sound Knowledge in Basic Networking, Basic knowledge in Windows Servers.
  • Should have worked on various security streams such as Threat Hunting and Intelligence gathering AND good to have knowledge of working in technologies such as EDR, Splunk, SOAR and SIEM.
  • Experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Reporting.
  • Should be flexible to work in 24/7 Security Operations centre environment.
  • Excellent communication and written skills in English and comfortable working with different cultures and time zones.
  • Certifications preferred - CCNA, CEH or relevant.
