Inviting applications for the role of FP&A - Assistant Manager.

 

This role is to provide analysis to support decision making in all matters – operational, financial, and strategic.

 

You will be in charge of Vertical/Accounts’ business P&L – Revenue, Costs, Gross Margins and AOI.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for monthly P&L forecasting by working directly with the business leaders to achieve an accurate and realistic forecast, along with analysis and drivers against plan/target and prior forecast.
  • Responsible in preparing annual budget/plan for the succeeding year by working closely with the business leaders to achieve accurate and realistic targets, along with preparation of comparison/drivers against the current year.
  • Analyze key financial metrics to provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision making and planning
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, thoughtful and meaningful analysis, identify action items and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
  • Identify and understand business challenges, propose, and create solutions/recommendations.
  • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year revenue, expenses and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare ad-hoc management financial reports as requested.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team on process/es that require improvement.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred but not required
  • Experience in FP&A role from a BPO industry preferred
  • General knowledge of accounting / financial / operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Relevant experience in FP&A role from a BPO / Shared Service set up
  • Relevant years of experience in same role
