FORESite is a Portfolio Construction system used by SSGA Currency portfolio managers to manage the Currency Overlay & Hedging in FX. This solution provides predefined trade rebalancing algorithms and future considerations helping the PMs on investment decisions. It interacts with trading, holdings, compliance, risk, custom benchmarks, funding ratio monitors, portfolio optimizer and various applications.

Who We Are Looking For

SSGA is looking for a Business Analyst with strong trading background as functional SME from IT. Having good exposure to the multiple asset classes in investment domain especially on Foreign exchange / Currency Overlay. Candidate should be able to build the partnerships, foster collaboration and work closely with the business, technology teams and third party vendors. Ability to create and maintain functional artifacts, and drive the UAT of IT deliverables including the third party applications.

What The Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Drive the demand management and Business requirements of Currency (FX) Portfolio Construction application suite
• Work collaboratively with all teams within the IT group and business and deliver the business requirements
• Maintain the functional artifacts (Functional requirements, requirements traceability)
• Drive the testing strategy of IT deliverables including the third party applications
• Be able to do L2 support as SME, participating in production support and BAU
• Manage the strong relationship with the portfolio managers and operations
• Define future roadmap based on Currency Overlay business priorities
• Comply the regulatory mandates of the finance applications
• Collaborate with the Senior Management and other IT leads

Skills And Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT as Business Analyst in Trading applications especially in Foreign Exchange
• Proven Experience as SME in investment domain or asset management in multiple asset classes
• Good understanding of managing the trading systems with multiple integration points
• Basic knowledge in Database
• Good experience in Regulatory requirements for the trading business
• Solid experience as BA worked in managing the backlogs in Agile methodology and handling the deliverables from Grooming till Production checkouts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or more
