Job purpose

 

Inventory Accounting COE- Supervisor position will be responsible of the management of the team in a variety of operational decisions and people development. The main purpose of the supervisor is to ensure the units is working in support of the organization’s objectives and engage their team in a culture of quality and results expectations safeguarding correct distribution of workload and market needs to address customer’s requirements.

 

Key Results (Principal Accountabilities):

 

  • Monitoring the Inventories KPIs results:
  • Correct execution of service catalogue requests-tickets solved within SLA.
  • Optimal level and control of Balance Sheet Reconciliation targets (Open costing allocation controls and accounting reconciliation on time)
  • Ensure the quality of the corporate Inventory reporting (IPT KPIs)
  • Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
  • Support annual, monthly, external and internal audits by ensuring the accomplish of all the audit deliveries.
  • Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls and supporting the Risk and Compliance department with all the initiatives and finance controls.

 

Specific Activities

 

  • Service to LATAM entities. Assistance to stakeholders on issues that need to be scaled up (Meetings and Follow up).
  • Support the accounting posting process of N-O-G type batches.
  • Generate reports to control the people capacity and efficiencies.
  • Review, analysis and documentation of Corporate Global KPIs.
  • Coordinate SOP updates and registration guides.
  • Customer service (HALEON suppliers and contacts).
  • Follow up on the month end close tasks (Month end close activities and accomplish the corporate calendar).
  • Attendance at daily closing meetings with markets. Update the control checklist daily during closing. Climb to markets any situation that puts the closure at risk.
  • Active participation in Sign Off meetings with markets for closing.
  • Active participation in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Sign Off (BSR sign off) meetings with markets.
  • Establishment and search for improvements with other departments of the BSC.
  • Monthly Comm Cells Coordination with Markets
  • Weekly Comm Cells Coordination with the Department
  • Monthly monitoring and updating open actions of the voice of the customer.
  • Conduct monthly One-One sessions with department analysts (Performance and development plans revisions).
  • Employees vacation plan controls.
  • To promote internal resilience activities, recognitions initiatives, trainings and motivate the internal development.
  • Assistance to several meetings with other areas of the BSC
  • Team Lead Support in several functions (corporate projects, mandatory corporate trainings, internal department initiatives).
  • Support for both internal and external audits.
  • Search for improvements in the processes currently handled in the department

 

Technical Requirements:

 

  • Graduated from a technical school (preferable)
  • University career completed (Bachelor) or about to be completed- Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering.
  • MS Office- Intermediate-advanced excel.
  • Advanced English level, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • 3 yrs experience in the accounting or share service field.
  • At least 2 areas of expertise within HALEON (for internal candidates).

 

Analysis Complexity:

 

  • Analytical skills able to interpret data and make informed decisions based on facts.
  • Ability to organize and understand financial data for input into pre-established models/spreadsheets and extract and load data required.
  • Can create basic models/spreadsheets with minimal aid.
  • Can use financial systems and procedures that facilitate analysis and communication of financial information.
  • Able to interpret clients needs and react appropriately accommodating available resources.

 

Require Supervision:

 

  • Works under low to minimal supervision.
  • Routine work is reviewed periodically. New assignments/duties are reviewed at regular intervals.
  • Identify potential issues and propose solutions in the immediate area or within functional group (Jr Analyst, Analyst and Senior Analyst).

  • Able to lead activities or processes relevant to the function
  • Make external contacts as needed to resolve basic customer/clients issues.
  • Ability to organize and understand financial data for input into pre-established models/spreadsheets and extract and be able to create basic models/spreadsheets with minimal aid.

  • High and good level communication and interpersonal skills; interacts effectively with individuals across a variety of internal /external organizations.
  • Ability to act as a contributor to finance or customer teams.
