n this role, you will:

  • Build system domain knowledge across the Fusion estate, in order to provide Subject Matter Expert guidance on the usage and operation of the Oracle Fusion Platform.
  • Providing technical guidance and communicating technical fixes eg. Root cause / configurations in a way that is understandable to users and stakeholders
  • Assist in incident resolution of IT system issues ensuring this is undertaken in a timely fashion and adhering to given Service Levels.
  • The incumbent will need to collaborate and establish good working relationships with key stake-holders, including: business team stakeholders, Project Fusion stakeholders, wider DEST POD teams, ERP Strategy and Support Teams
  • Effectively communicate relevant information, products and services to the Service desk team leads, at the right time in an appropriate style, throughout the lifecycle of a service impacting incidents
  • Build rapport within and across teams, to improve service delivery and achieve bank objectives and maintain a high performance culture within the IT service desk
  • Collaboration – Seeks, listens to and accepts feedback and uses mistakes, failures and successes as data for future development. Accepts personal responsibility and encourages others in completion of tasks on time and to the highest standards
  • Highlight the IT Risk associated with the adoption of emerging technology solutions, especially in relation to the externally hosted cloud-based services. Recognises inefficiencies and suggests ways to improve local risk and compliance processes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Be able to respond efficiently and proactively taking decisions in the interest of service availability
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Background in production support or working as part of a service desk or helpdesk within an IT context
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Oracle Fusion certification is desirable.
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Cloud technology applications, ideally within an ERP context is desirable.
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers and look for ways to innovate
  • Flexible and adaptable in the face of a changing working environment. This is a 24x7 Service desk working across different shift patterns supporting a Global model of support and the candidate will need to be flexible to this
  • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
  • An understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes. Ability to follow a given procedure and execute to a high level of accuracy.
