Area Of Responsibilities
Key Activities/Elements
Service Delivery
Ø Ability to lead large FP&A team of analysts with strong focus on team management, functional transformation, willingness to go the extra mile and drive multiple organizational objectives
Ø Responsible for overall FP&A service delivery for a specific business(s)
Ø Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Management and Retention of the team
Ø Ability to process big data, initiate ideas for analytics and enable solving business problems
Ø Great Story Telling Skills – Ability to draw actionable insights from complex data
Ø Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
Ø Establish relevant KPIs and performance drivers and analyze performance with improvement recommendations
Ø Manage the Monthly Operations Review process and other related operational processes
Ø Operational expertise in STRAP/AOP/Estimate processes
Ø Delivering high quality output & identifying risks/issues & escalating and mitigating them as required
Ø Partner with SBG/SBU & COE Leadership to enhance current process metrics & performance measurement system in line with Honeywell as well as key industry practices
Ø Provide relevant training to new employees on FP&A concepts and reports as per requirements of new employee orientation program

Business Partnering
Ø Partner with business counterparts in helping the team in building financial plan and estimates and the associated variance analysis compared to actual
Ø Partner with the business in driving key business goals and initiatives. Demonstrate behavioral maturity and adaptability to changing audience
Ø Partner with business counterparts and demonstrate insight in financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel in driving business results
FP&A Transformation
Ø Ensure increased efficiency, working proactively to improve systems and processes. Implement process improvement plans by developing tools and other solutions with cross functional teams
Ø Lead process improvements initiatives, to maximize scalability and minimize manual work
Ø Develop systems for implementation and tracking of progress for Honeywell’s strategic plan using internal tools
Ø Vast exposure to Global Customers with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees/customers and to align/ integrate with other departments / sites
Ø Identify areas for Standardization of deliverables; Design a Standardization plan and work with the Leadership to deploy the Standards in the business
Ø Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements
Ø Provide reliable and accurate financial reporting that exceeds existing standards and facilitates decision making

Requirement
Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet the minimum requirements for this position
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
Ø Finance/ Commerce / equivalent degree with min 10-12 yrs of relevant experience in FP&A
Ø Should have managed a team of at least 5+ people
Ø To lead, manage and develop the FP&A team to excel in their roles through setting up of objectives and appropriate management technique
Ø Excellent organization, project management and time management skills
Ø Possess a strong team-oriented philosophy and willingness to go the extra mile to get the tasks completed accurately and in a timely fashion
Ø CA,ICWAI, MBA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
Ø Expert level analytical, modeling, and technical skills and high attention to detail
Ø Ability to think outside of traditional role to evaluate business implications
Ø Expert Knowledge on STRAP/AOP/Estimate process
Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)
Ø Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Essbase, Business Objects and Hyperion Financial Management and should have flexibility to adapt to different ERPs/Reporting tools
Ø Strong business acumen coupled with financial prudence
Ø Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
Ø Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate financial data and information to non finance professionals
Ø Highly collaborative and willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
