About The Department

 

Digital, Data & IT India was established in February 2010. It is a team of 800+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Bangalore. The main role of Digital, Data & IT is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Commercial IT department is an integral part of the Digital, Data & IT within DD&IT India and is responsible for delivering projects and managing systems for Sales, Marketing, Medical & Market Access teams. In Digital, Data & IT, we drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.

Position

 

You Will Also Be Entrusted With The Below Responsibilities

 

As a manager, you will be overall IT responsible for management of employees, systems, services & projects for NNI Systems – Commercial IT GBS, leading a team of FTEs and Consultants. You will be responsible for attraction, onboarding and hiring qualified candidate and coaching & mentoring on how to build and apply competencies.

 

  • Plan, assigns, and supervises the work of a dedicated team engaged in performing system management service for Veeva systems
  • Guide management on the overall cost, efficiency considerations in providing system management services to US
  • Build Agile, personal, and professional competencies in cooperation with other People Leaders ensure the execution of the people side of the IT strategy.
  • Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide feedback
  • Help individuals build their long-term career and support employee progression
  • Own FTE related budget e.g., salary and training and keep people cost updated and in line with the organisational budget
  • Coach and mentor employees on leadership competences and how to apply them in the organisation and support the agile transformation
  • Engage with vendor partners ensuring external deliveries are managed effectively
  • Additionally, you will be expected to establish an excellent relationship with Key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk and business areas. You will ensure the healthy and safe working conditions and workplaces within own area of responsibility

 

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent with minimum 12 years of total experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Leadership experience.
  • Preferable understanding (optional certification) in ITIL, Salesforce, Veeva
  • Seek to understand the thoughts and feelings of self and others.
  • Actively coach and provide feedback to accelerate development.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology is highly preferred.
  • Self-managed with a positive outlook, strong personal drive, and leadership skills.
  • Must have handled, worked, and collaborated for driving organizational strategies, and delivery excellence.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
