Job Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Play Therapist to join our team at Beautiful Minds, a mental health startup dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to all age groups, and to facilitate institutions. The Play Therapist will be responsible for conducting play therapy sessions with clients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure quality care.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct play therapy sessions with children and adolescents in a safe and supportive environment
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to clients' families regarding their child's treatment and progress
  • Attend regular staff meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment goals
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of play therapy

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Registered or licensed as a Play Therapist with a recognized professional organization (such as the Association for Play Therapy)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other mental health professionals
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in play therapy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
