Position Summary...

 

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

 

What you'll do...

 

To support Walmart International’s Global Communications team for the Indian market. The work involves supporting our flagship program for Indian MSMEs called Walmart Vriddhi, our work with Indian farmers through the Walmart Foundation, our commitment to source $10 billion worth of Made in India goods by 2027, and more.

The Walmart Global Communications team is focused on both traditional and new ways to reach audiences internally and externally and shape the reputation of the brand. What you'll do:

 

  • Managing the storytelling pipeline across the portfolio of work
  • Identifying the right avenues to deploy our storytelling through an integrated earned, owned, and paid approach.
  • Support the digital strategy and brand engagement team with content for the corporate website
  • Applying creative ways to tell stories; monitoring and analyzing communication activities to inform future decision-making
  • Operating in a highly complex, rapidly changing environment, translating business concerns into practical solutions. Establish trust and credibility and motivate colleagues across the organization.
  • Supporting communications teams and initiatives across the Walmart International portfolio

 

What you'll bring:

 

  • You have a strong background in writing and storytelling across platforms
  • You have content creation skills; the ability to quickly produce clear, compelling, motivating communications
  • You have experience working across global teams, cross-cultural understanding
